A full moon shined up in the cloudless sky,
The street was empty, no girl, no guy.
Bang! Crackle! And there was light,
The noise so loud you'd die of fright.
One by one a house came alive,
Then two, then three, then four and five.
From around the corner as quiet as a snitch,
Crept a vampire, ghost, werewolf and witch.
At the first house they stopped at the gate,
Creaking it open without moment's wait.
They knock on the door, hungry to eat.
It opens. 'Trick or treat!'
